We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sushi Chef to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic and visually stunning sushi dishes that delight our guests. Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of sushi and sashimi with precision, artistry, and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout all stages of food preparation and service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Educate team members on proper sushi techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles to foster a collaborative learning environment
- Manage ingredient inventory, monitor freshness, and communicate supply needs proactively
- Assist in developing new sushi menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a busy restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles
- Experience working with children or in educational environments is a plus, demonstrating patience and teaching skills
- Background in cooking or culinary arts with an emphasis on Japanese cuisine preferred
- Classroom experience or early childhood education background is advantageous for training junior staff or conducting demonstrations
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
