Job Title: Senior System Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Client: Public Sector

Pay Rate: CAD $80/hr - $85/hr

Must have

- 10+ years of experience in Systems Analysis, requirements elicitation, stakeholder workshops, and large-scale IT implementations.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo (v7/v8) and/or Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
- Strong Maximo Asset Management experience, including work orders, service requests, preventive maintenance, planning, capital projects, and vendor/contract management.
- Proven experience with Maximo implementation, transformation, upgrade, migration, or replacement projects.
- Robust experience documenting AS-IS/TO-BE processes using BPMN, business workflows, procedures, roles, and responsibilities.
- Experience with enterprise system integration, data conversion/migration, QA, functional testing, UAT, test planning, and requirements traceability.
- Experience evaluating system solutions, documenting functional/non-functional requirements, and identifying process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.




- Public sector/municipal experience is preferred.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Lead/support the implementation of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) replacing the existing Maximo environment.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements through stakeholder workshops.
- Document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes using BPMN and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Support enterprise work management processes covering asset management, work orders, preventive maintenance, service requests, and capital projects.
- Analyze Maximo/MAS integrations, data conversion, migration, and enterprise system dependencies.
- Develop requirements documentation, process maps, decision logs, traceability matrices, and technical/project deliverables.
- Support QA, functional testing, test case development, UAT, defect validation, and rollout activities.
- Evaluate solution options and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support training, operational procedures, sustainment documentation, and post-implementation activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, architects, vendors, and project managers to deliver effective Maximo/MAS solutions.
