Job Title: T1M Database Developer (SingleStore & MemSQL)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Duration: Full time

Interview Mode: Virtual via Microsoft Teams, followed by an in-person interview.

Required Experience

- 7+ years of experience as a Database Developer/Data Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python .
- Experience with Sybase ASE database development and support.
- Expertise in MongoDB administration, development, and performance tuning.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL development and database design.
- Experience with SingleStore (MemSQL) .
- Strong understanding of query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.




- Experience with ETL processes, data integration, and database troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise database solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Support and manage Sybase, MongoDB, and SingleStore environments.
- Develop automation and data-processing scripts using Python.
- Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with application development teams on database architecture and data models.
- Support database security, backup, recovery, and migration activities.

Must-Have Requirements

- 7+ years of relevant database development experience.
- Strong experience with Python, Sybase, MongoDB, SQL, and SingleStore (MemSQL) .
- Authorized to work in Canada.
