The Talend Integration Analyst designs, develops, tests, deploys, and supports enterprise data integration solutions using Talend and relational database technologies. This role is responsible for building reliable ETL/ELT workflows, managing Talend runtime environments, and supporting integrations across development, test, and production environments. The position also provides production incident support, promotes secure and governed data movement, and uses automation and AI-assisted tools to improve delivery efficiency and solution quality.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Talend Studio, including ETL/ELT jobs, data transformations, orchestration workflows, reusable components, and deployment-ready integration processes.
Administer and support Talend Management Console, Talend Administration Center, Remote Engines, Job Servers, and associated runtime infrastructure.
Deploy, schedule, monitor, and track Talend jobs across development, test, and production environments, including release promotion and deployment validation.
Provide production support for integration solutions by investigating incidents, analyzing logs, performing root-cause analysis, resolving data-load failures, and restoring services within established service levels.
Implement error handling, data validation,
reconciliation, logging, performance tuning, connectivity troubleshooting, and operational monitoring to ensure reliable data movement.
Follow established SDLC, Git, code review, CI/CD, testing, release management, documentation, change management, security, and governance practices.
Use AI and automation tools to support code generation, data analysis, testing, documentation, workflow automation, and continuous improvement of data engineering processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using Talend Studio, including ETL/ELT jobs, data transformations, orchestration workflows, and reusable components.
Minimum 3 years of experience administering and supporting Talend Management Console or Talend Administration Center, including deployment, scheduling, monitoring, execution tracking, environment management, and release promotion.
Minimum 3 years of experience installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Talend Remote Engines, Job Servers, and Talend runtime infrastructure.
Minimum 2 years of experience providing production support for enterprise integration solutions, including incident management, root-cause analysis, monitoring, performance optimization, and resolution of integration failures.
Minimum 4 years of experience working within a mature SDLC using Git-based source control, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, testing, release management, documentation, and change management processes.
Demonstrated experience developing ETL/ELT transformations, orchestration workflows, error-handling processes, and deployment-ready integration components for critical business processes.
Minimum 1 year of experience using AI for code generation, data analysis, automation, productivity improvement, and data engineering workflow support.
Nice to Have:
Minimum 6 years of experience performing business requirements analysis related to data manipulation, transformation, cleansing, and data wrangling.
Minimum 6 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and administration in enterprise environments.
Experience with scalable Talend ETL pipelines, RESTful API design and integration, message queueing technologies such as ActiveMQ or Azure Service Bus, and ServiceNow-to-Azure Data Management Platform integrations.
