We are currently looking for an experienced and dependable Tandem Truck Driver to haul aggregates to construction sites, commercial projects, and customers. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Operate a tandem axle dump truck to transport aggregates, gravel, sand, rock, and other construction materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and deliver materials safely and efficiently to customer and job site locations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery tickets, and inspection records.
- Follow all transportation regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel.
- Keep equipment clean and report maintenance requirements promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3A driver's licence.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Previous experience hauling aggregates or operating dump trucks preferred.
- Knowledge of local roads, construction sites,
and protected hauling practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
