About our client :

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a fast-growing and modern CPA firm, that is looking for an experienced CPA professional to join their remote-first team. If you enjoy working closely with startup founders and owner-managed businesses, value autonomy, and are looking for a clear path to leadership, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

The Role:

You’ll be a core member of our firm, owning client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to small and mid-sized businesses.

What you’ll do:

- Manage and execute compilation engagements
- Prepare and review Corporate (T2) and Personal (T1) tax returns
- Provide practical tax planning and accounting advice to business owners
- Own end-to-end client relationships
- Partner closely with the team to improve workflows, systems, and efficiency

What You Bring:

- Active Canadian CPA designation
- 3+ years experience at a small or mid-sized accounting firm
- Robust experience with owner-managed businesses and/or startups
- Solid technical foundation in compilations, corporate tax, and personal tax

- Attention to detail - you deliver high quality work that clients value
- Experience with CCH iFirm and Financial Cents are strong assets.
