Multiple TA positions are available.
Duties will normally consist of: assisting with the instructional program of undergraduate courses, assisting with research on curriculum development for a course, and/or marking assignments or tests, and tutoring; and/or leading lab sections (where applicable), with associated marking, preparation and assignments. Assisting in the Map Library.
Position Requirements
Students and senior majors in Geography (BA, BSc), Environmental Studies (BA), Geography & Environmental Studies (BA, BSc), Environmental Geoscience (BSc), or Bachelor of Geographic Information Science (BGISc).
Preference will be given to students who have successfully completed the classes for which they are assisting, or if they have previous experience assisting with the class.
You must be a registered student and enrolled in classes for the 2026 fall term to be eligible for this position.
Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As Per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
Approximately 3-7 hours per week. Hours will vary and will be dependent on position and class size.
