Your Role as a Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you will provide leadership and day-to-day support within a residence while helping ensure quality care, effective teamwork, and smooth operations. We are looking for someone who can solve problems, support and guide staff, address concerns constructively, and build a positive and accountable team culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to staff.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and respectful communication.
- Address conflict and staff performance concerns appropriately.
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and complete staff performance reviews.
- Maintain financial records, complete reports, and oversee residence documentation.
- Identify problems and take appropriate action or seek guidance when required.
- Support effective communication and consistent practices within the team.
- Respond effectively to changing operational, client care, scheduling, and location needs.

Required Qualifications

- Valid Manitoba Class 5F Driver’s Licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for use during all scheduled shifts.
- Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search, completed within the last six months.
- Adult Abuse Registry Check and Child Abuse Registry Check, completed within the last six months.
- Driver’s Abstract completed within the last six months. Education and Experience
- Two years of support experience is preferred.




- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Experience maintaining financial records, reports, and residence documentation is considered an asset.

Work Location and Schedule Expectations This is a full time, permanent position located in Brandon, Manitoba. Applicants must be able to respond effectively to changing operational, client care, scheduling, and location needs.
