The Silicon and Solutions Group Edge AI team seeks an Applied Scientist to work on evaluating multimodal models. Your main focus will be collaborating with engineers to enhance models for audio and visual applications. You'll analyze data for insights into model performance and innovate methods for reliable evaluations that will shape future products at Amazon.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design multimodal evaluation methods for advanced device experiences
• Validate automated approaches for perception task evaluations
• Extend frameworks for comprehensive model assessments




• Analyze large datasets and communicate findings
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to refine models

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning applications
• PhD or Master's degree plus 6+ years in research
• Programming skills in C++, Java, or Python
• Familiarity with neural networks and deep learning
• Experience with modeling tools and development
