In this vital program, you will work closely with participants who have faced challenges related to violence and justice. Your role emphasizes culturally appropriate support and accountability, ensuring access to essential resources, while co-facilitating group sessions that foster personal growth and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Navigate reintegration planning and goal-setting with participants
• Facilitate support groups for behavioral change and accountability
• Connect individuals to community services and resources
• Collaborate with justice system entities for participant advocacy
• Document participant progress and maintain confidentiality
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline
• Experience working with individuals facing justice issues
• Proven group facilitation and mentorship experience
• Understanding of trauma-informed and culturally secure practices
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Clearance
