Duration: 12 Months assignment (contract)

Client Location: North York, ON (Hybrid Role) : 7.5 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Engagement Model: Skilled Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Hybrid , requiring 7.5 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

Mandatory Qualifications

Education
University degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Preferred disciplines:
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

Certifications
Licensed Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario – Mandatory

Experience
Minimum 7 years of experience in a transit operating environment.
Extensive experience in:
Project management
Construction management
Large multidisciplinary projects

Technical Knowledge
Engineering principles and practices.
Project management methodologies.
Conceptual planning and design processes.




Scope, schedule and cost control systems.
Construction practices and techniques.
Contract administration and inspection.

Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Robust organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.

Software

Assets (Preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience travelling to construction sites not readily accessible by transit.
