This casual, part time position seeks a dedicated Physiotherapist for the Bone & Joint department. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and implement tailored treatment programs utilizing various therapeutic techniques. You will also supervise students and assistants while contributing to team goal-setting and effectiveness evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose patients with functional impairments
Develop holistic treatment programs using diverse modalities
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment options
Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants
Collaborate with health specialists for patient management
Requirements:
Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
Membership with Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Experience in inpatient acute care is an asset
Competency in French is preferred
