At CAMP Systems, we are the trusted leader in aircraft compliance and health management, proudly serving the global business aviation industry. With over 20,000 aircraft and 33,000 engines supported on our cutting-edge platforms, and partnerships with more than 1,300 maintenance facilities and parts suppliers worldwide, we’re shaping the future of aviation technology. We connect the aviation industry through smart technology to make flight safer and more efficient, driving the future of aviation with intelligence and exceptional customer experiences.
We are customer obsessed, trust‑driven, owners of our work, stronger together, constantly curious, and boldly innovative. CAMP monitors 35,000+ aircraft engines worldwide, in close partnership with the engine OEMs behind those programs, today mainly Pratt & Whitney Canada and Honeywell, with additional OEM partnerships expected as the business grows. We’re hiring a Technical Product Manager (Engine Health Monitoring) to own the day-to-day technical relationship with those partners, aligning roadmaps, working through engine performance challenges together, and turning those conversations into explicit product direction for our engineering teams.
Own the technical relationship with our engine OEM partners, principally Pratt & Whitney Canada and Honeywell, with scope to grow into additional OEMs acting as CAMP's day-to-day technical point of contact, build trust at the working level, and keep the partnership productive between formal reviews Align roadmaps with OEM partners - run regular technical reviews,
understand their EHM priorities and program plans, and shape how CAMP's roadmap supports them Work engine performance technical challenges jointly with OEM engineering to investigate issues, evaluate proposed detection logic or algorithm changes, and drive them to an agreed solution Translate OEM commitments, coordination memos, and joint findings into clear, prioritized requirements the development team can build from Apply engine health monitoring expertise (gas path, vibration, oil, fuel trend analysis) to interpret engine behavior, challenge assumptions, and shape product concepts grounded in real data Prototype ideas hands‑on using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to build lightweight proofs-of-concept and pressure‑test requirements before committing engineering bandwidth to engineering, analytics, and commercial teams and keep everyone aligned on commitments, scope, and timelines Experience managing technical relationships with engine OEMs, suppliers, or major partners in aerospace (direct exposure to Pratt & Whitney Canada or Honeywell is a strong plus)
while being comfortable sitting across from engineering leadership and holding a substantive conversation Working knowledge of turbine engine performance and engine health monitoring: trend analysis, gas path / vibration / oil / fuel parameters, and what healthy versus degrading behavior looks like Ability to translate a technical discussion with OEM engineers into requirements a development team can act on, without losing the engineering detail Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to prototype concepts and draft requirements - you don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be able to put a rough working concept together yourself Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering background, or equivalent experience in engine performance, powerplant engineering, or condition monitoring Willingness to travel to OEM and customer sites (approximately 15-25%) Prior product management or product ownership experience in enterprise SaaS or aviation software Familiarity with SQL or other data exploration tools for investigating trends, but not a requirement Working French (an asset for the Montreal location and P&WC; engagement) CAMP is committed to providing access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities. [email protected] qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status EEO. #
