Alibi Room is looking for an experienced bartender to join our team in Gastown.

This is a bartender position, not a server position with occasional bar shifts . We are looking for someone with solid hands-on experience working behind a busy bar who can confidently manage their station and provide fast, skilled service.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages accurately and efficiently
Handle a busy bar independently and maintain speed and consistency during high-volume periods
Provide knowledgeable and friendly service to guests
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
Process orders and payments accurately using the POS system
Follow responsible alcohol service and all applicable liquor regulations




Assist with opening, closing, restocking, and general bar duties

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on bartending experience in a restaurant, pub, or busy bar workplace
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
Comfortable working independently behind the bar
Able to work efficiently under pressure
Reliable, punctual, skilled, and team-oriented
Valid Serving It Right certification
Must be available for evening and weekend shifts
