This position is contract base.

Responsibilities

- Install, test, and maintain telecommunication systems including telephony, WAN (Wide Area Network), and low voltage wiring.
- Operate equipment such forklifts to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas safely during installations or repairs
- Conduct electrical work related to telecommunication infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot network issues related to telephony, WAN connections, and network infrastructure components to restore optimal performance swiftly.
- Perform welding tasks when necessary to secure or modify structural components supporting communication hardware.




- Manage operation safely for tasks involving high elevation work, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Document all installation activities, repairs, and inspections thoroughly for compliance and quality assurance purposes.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in telecommunication installation, maintenance, or repair with a focus on network infrastructure and low voltage systems.
- Strong experience with knowledge of wiring standards and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate scissorlifts, and other specialized equipment confidently and safely.
- Familiarity with telephony systems, WAN configurations, and general telecommunication principles.
- Valid certifications for bucket truck operation; forklift certification is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as climbing ladders or working at heights using bucket trucks or scaffolding.
