Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunications Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of telecommunications networks. This role requires a strong understanding of telecommunications systems, and industry safety standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of working independently in field environments, and committed to delivering high-quality network performance and customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Perform fiber optic cable splicing, termination, and testing for indoor installations.
- Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot telecommunications network issues and perform corrective actions.
- Install and configure telecommunications hardware, enclosures, and related equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
- Complete accurate documentation, test reports, and daily work records.
- Adhere to all health, safety,



and environmental procedures while working in field and customer locations.
- Coordinate with project managers, network engineers, and customers to ensure timely project completion.

Skills

- Installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications and fiber optic networks.
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams, construction drawings, and technical schematics.
- Knowledge of residential cable installation practice.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for network and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently in field environments.This role requires a dedicated qualified with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and technical excellence. Candidates should be prepared to work in diverse environments while maintaining high standards of safety compliance.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
