Position Information
Role: Temporary Neurosurgery Fellow
Responsibilities
The candidate will develop teaching models and tools for neurosurgical procedures for the neurology service residents and provide training in cadaver labs. They will refine novel neurosurgical approaches to the spine and brain and introduce novel neurosurgical techniques.
Requirements and Preferences
- DVM who has completed an approved residency in veterinary neurology/neurosurgery.
- Board certification in veterinary neurology preferred.
- Proficiency in neurosurgical skill.
Work Schedule
Work Schedule: TBD, as needed basis.
Qualifications
Final candidates are subject to criminal & sex offender background checks. Some vacancies also require credit or motor vehicle checks. Degree(s) must be obtained prior to start date in order to meet qualifications and receive credit.
