Full Time Toddler Age Teacher:

Hours Ranging from: 7:00am to 6:00pm (9-hour work day with a one-hour lunch break)

We are looking for a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE).

We are a large Christian School and Childcare Centre with over 25 years of providing exceptional care and education to children from toddlers 18 months to 2 ½ years of age. Positions to start September 2026 to June 2027

QUALIFICATIONS

- RECE -Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators in good standing.
- Excellent communication both written and verbally. - Strong organizational skills, self-control, and sound judgment. - Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C. - Current clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Scan. - Updated immunization report including a 2-step TB test and required immunizations. - - Plan to Protect Abuse Prevention Training is an asset.

Physical abilities: must have the ability to lift children up to 30lb from floor to waist height.



Be able to get down to children’s level and maintain eye contact.

Responsibilities

- Planning and implementing a quality program for children 18 months to 2 ½ years old - Ensuing the supervision and safety of the children within the program.
- Developing children’s curiosity and planning activities based on their interests - Creating positive relationships with co-workers, families and children.
- Ability to interact with children in a positive manner and discuss daily events with families while supporting our Christian philosophy - Flexible; adapts easily to change

Pay: $22-$24 per hour Monday to Friday
