Reporting To: Foreman

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Excellent communication with Foreman, Operators and crew members

· Continuous inspection of small tools

· Proficient at cutting and bevelling pipe

· Understanding and demonstrating skill in cutting to grade

· install and repair water, sewer & storm infrastructure

· Install culverts and rip rap

· Monitor, control, adjust (as necessary), and record trench and pipe grading via laser, level, and rod or batter boards

· Monitor and control water in trenches

· Perform pipe inspections prior to installation

· Observes and reports any hazards

· Perform other duties as required

· Ability to work as part of a team

Required Experience & Additional Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a Topman





· Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and specifications

· Thorough understanding of construction site safety practices

· Extensive knowledge of equipment utilization, operation, and maintenance

· Must have your own transportation

· demanding outdoor work conditions

· Overtime will be required during peak construction months

· RSTS or CSTS Certificate is an asset

Job Types: Full time, Seasonal

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
