Transformation Risk & Advisory, Manager
Transformations risk and advisory team continues to grow, offering strategic risk management to support digital transformation across our client base.
Responsibilities
- Assist in assessing large, complex digital transformation programs/projects based on best‑practice knowledge and prior experience.
- Identify key transformation delivery risks and provide advice and recommendations for effective mitigation.
- Analyze program information and data to uncover key insights on program performance and develop improvement recommendations.
- Assist in developing and executing assurance strategies and plans for programs and projects.
- Manage all phases of client engagements, including supervising PwC teams, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and managing engagement economics.
- Deliver compelling presentations and lead impactful conversations with senior client leaders.
- Engage in business‑development activities, including responding to requests for proposals.
- Build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties by managing varied viewpoints.
- Pursue opportunities to develop existing and recent skills beyond the comfort zone.
- Coaching others and encouraging their ownership of development.
- Contribute to practice growth and deliver on the firm’s people value proposition.
- Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Extensive experience delivering and/or assessing large digital transformation programs, including leading performance assessments, programme gateway reviews, and risk‑based reviews.
- Designing program management and/or assurance strategies.
- Strong understanding of the digital‑transformation project/program implementation life‑cycle and associated risks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate, problem‑solve and influence.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and JIRA.
- Project‑management certification (e.g., PMIPMBOK, APMBOK, PRINCE2, MSP, MoR, Agile or Benefit Realization) is desirable.
Additional Requirements
- A security clearance is mandatory; applicants must meet the Government of Canada eligibility requirements.
Compensation
Salary range is $84,700 – $134,700. Base salary is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, and work location. Employees may also qualify for variable incentive programs.
