The Travel Trade Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the Tour & FIT reservations team while driving revenue growth within the travel trade market segment. This role ensures effective inventory management, partner relationship support, and achievement of revenue targets across all travel trade channels.

The successful candidate will combine strong leadership skills and analytical decision-making to maximize production from wholesale, tour operators, receptive operators, and FIT partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the revenue and yield team to understand market segment objectives and optimize pricing and inventory allocation to maximize revenue.
- Oversee all travel trade contract administration, including contract maintenance and implementation of negotiated agreements.
- Ensure all contracted rates, allotments, promotions, policies, and partner agreements are accurately maintained.




- Collaborate with hotel operations to ensure seamless execution of travel trade initiatives and a consistent guest experience across all properties.
- Prepare and analyze reports related to travel trade performance, inventory utilization, and revenue contribution to support business decisions.
- Provide leadership and direction to the FIT and Tour teams, ensuring reservations are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with the contract terms.
- Lead initiatives that improve department processes, streamline workflows, and increase team productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel trade partners, serving as a key operational point of contact and escalation resource.

Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of travel trade distribution channels, revenue management, and hotel operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing teams.
- Proven attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Maestro PMS or comparable property management system, with the ability to leverage data, reporting, and analytics to drive decision-making.
