We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team! Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 heavy trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on schedule across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff,



and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies during every shift

Experience

- Proven experience operating Class 1 commercial trucks in a freight or logistics setting
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy vehicle operation
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and load securing techniques
- Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues effectively
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
