Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Truck Driver - Container to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting containers to and from designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This position offers an exciting chance to be part of a safety-driven organization that values precision and professionalism.

Duties

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport containers between CP/CN Rails and customer sites
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure safety standards are met
- Perform heavy lifting when loading and unloading containers manually or with equipment as needed




- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and related logs for compliance purposes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedule updates or issues encountered during routes
- Assist with securing containers on the truck to prevent movement during transit

Experience

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for container transport
- Proven experience driving heavy trucks, preferably in container or intermodal transportation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for freight transportation
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency

Pay: $7,000.00-$8,000.00 per month
