Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty trucks and industrial equipment. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our operations across various industries.

This position offers an exciting prospect to work with diverse machinery, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to keep our fleet in top condition.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on trucks and heavy equipment using schematics and electrical testing tools.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and hydraulic components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other industrial tools to execute repairs accurately.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all maintenance activities performed.
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment for repair or troubleshooting purposes.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to ensure a secure working environment.




- Assist with assembly or disassembly of mechanical components as needed for repairs or upgrades.

Skills

- Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty trucks and industrial equipment; dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, heavy machinery operation, and farm machinery maintenance.
- Proficiency with schematics, electrical systems, HVAC components, and welding techniques.
- Experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic scanners, and welding equipment effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions safely.
- Customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when necessary.
