Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging you will be responsible for performing Diagnostic Ultrasound procedures in accordance with the policies and procedures and College guidelines and Standard of Practice.
The Ultrasound
Department is a high-volume department. We are seeking a technologist who can work independently as well as be an intricate part of our team.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) –
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS) required
- Demonstrated technical competence and a commitment to quality patient care
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- Criminal Record Check required
- Current registration with Sonography Canada preferred.

- Demonstrated educational and professional involvement as well as a commitment to professional development
- Excellent attendance record
- Safety (patient, worker & workplace) is a BCHS Corporate Priority. The successful applicant will demonstrate valuable stewardship in the identification, reporting and mitigation of unsafe acts or conditions.
- Reliable individual with excellent attendance record and able to work all shifts
- Experience in a fast-paced Diagnostic Imaging Department preferred
- Current B.C.L.S. Certificate preferred
