Broadmead Veterinary Clinic is looking for a part-time veterinarian to join our friendly, privately owned small-animal practice in Victoria, BC.

Time to practise good medicine

Our standard appointments are 30 minutes, giving you the time to properly assess your patients, communicate with clients, and develop an appropriate treatment plan.

Committed and caring clientele

We are fortunate to serve a wonderful client community in the Broadmead area. Our clients care deeply about their pets and are generally very supportive of recommended diagnostics, treatment, and preventative care.

No after-hours or on-call work

When your workday is finished, it is finished. There are no after-hours shifts or call-outs associated with this position.

Flexible part-time schedule

We are looking for someone interested in working one or two days per week. The position can be structured as either an employee or contractor, depending on the arrangement that works best for both parties.



There is also an opportunity to provide full-time relief coverage during our regular veterinarian’s vacation periods if additional hours are of interest.

Surgery is available, but not required

If you enjoy surgery and would like to incorporate surgical procedures into your work with us, that opportunity is available. If your preference is to focus on appointments and medical cases, we can accommodate that as well.

About You

We are looking for a veterinarian who enjoys building relationships with clients, values high-quality medicine, and appreciates having the time to provide thoughtful patient care.

Applicants must hold, or be eligible to hold, a licence to practise veterinary medicine in British Columbia.

Whether you are an experienced veterinarian looking to reduce your schedule, returning to practice, balancing family or other commitments, or simply looking for a great clinic where you can practise one or two days a week, we would be happy to hear from you.

Compensation is negotiable and will reflect experience, schedule, and whether the successful candidate joins us as an employee or contractor.

Pay: $100.00-$140.00 per hour
