Brookville Veterinary Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Practice Manager to join our team.

We are an established, independently owned veterinary clinic with a great team, and we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys leading people, building relationships and helping a team succeed.

For us, the right person is more key than simply finding someone with previous management experience. We want a leader who is approachable, positive and organized, someone our team can rely on as their day to day point person.

What You'll Do:

As our Practice Manager, you will work closely with the clinic owners while taking the lead on the day to day operations and people management of the clinic.

Your responsibilities will include

- Being the primary point person for our team
- Supporting, encouraging and motivating staff
- Helping create a positive, collaborative and accountable workplace
- Managing day to day clinic operations
- Staff scheduling and workflow
- Coaching and mentoring team members
- Helping staff work through challenges and resolve conflicts
- Conducting regular check ins and performance reviews
- Assisting with recruitment, interviewing and onboarding
- Identifying opportunities for staff development
- Encouraging and coordinating continuing education
- Helping ensure good communication throughout the clinic
- Helping develop and implement clinic policies and procedures
- Managing client concerns when they require additional support
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and patient and client experience
- Working with the owners on ideas and initiatives to help the clinic continue to grow

Veterinary experience is strongly preferred. Previous management experience is an asset, but we are also very interested in hearing from experienced RVTs with leadership or supervisory experience who are ready to take the next step in their career. For an RVT who would like to maintain some clinical involvement, there may be an opportunity to incorporate some RVT duties into the position.

Continuing Education & Growth:

We believe great leaders should continue to grow too.

We are looking for someone who is interested in leadership and management continuing education, attending relevant conferences or courses, and bringing new ideas back to our clinic.

We want our Practice Manager to continue developing professionally and we will support that development.
