Duties

- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care
- Prepare animals for procedures by restraining, cleaning, and administering medications as directed
- Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimens, utilizing laboratory experience to ensure accuracy
- Maintain detailed medical records of treatments, diagnostics, and patient histories in compliance with clinic protocols
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety at all times
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health strategies
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments, examination rooms, and equipment to uphold strict hygiene standards





Skills

- Proven laboratory experience with sample collection, processing, and analysis to support diagnostic efforts
- Strong understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and behavior for effective restraint and patient handling
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with veterinary team members and educate pet owners
