In this full time role, you will leverage your 7-10 years of drafting experience to produce fabrication-ready shop drawings. This position calls for a strong understanding of welding standards and steel detailing practices, ensuring all drawings align with project needs and deadlines. You will closely interact with estimating and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare shop drawings for railings and structural supports
• Generate material lists and manufacturing details
• Review site conditions and adjust designs as needed
• Assist with internal coordination meetings and site visits
• Maintain organized revision-controlled drawing files
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Drafting or Engineering Technology
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam required
• Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
• Experience in steel detailing crucial
• Must have a valid driver’s license
