As a permanent full time Auto Service Technician in the Public Works division, you will be charged with maintaining and repairing various municipal vehicles. Candidates with current CUPE 12.1 membership will be prioritized. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment functions smoothly and complies with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain gas and diesel vehicles and equipment
• Conduct inspections and issue MTO Safety Certificates
• Maintain accurate work records and documentation




• Utilize diagnostic tools and manuals effectively
• Assess equipment acquisitions and coach apprentices

Requirements:
• 310S or 310T certification is an asset
• Experience with specialized diagnostic equipment necessary
• Relevant experience in a similar role for at least 5 years
• Proficient in reading schematic diagrams
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
