Child care certification: Level 1, 2 or 3 is required
Valid First Aid Certification
Cleared criminal Record Check (CRIM) and Child Intervention Check (CYIM)
Have working knowledge and/or experience of speech and language services and supports, or willing to learn
Comfortable working with families and referring agencies with children needing extra supports
Experience working with children in a childcare setting
Ability to work both independently and in a team workplace
Warm and empathetic attitude towards children and families
Actively encourages and engages in meaningful interactions with children
Conducts self professionally as an individual, within a team and with families
Has knowledge and appreciation of the Indigenous culture
Be available to work between the hours of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Monday to Friday with ocassional Frida
