Join AgeCare as a Recreation Therapy Aide, supporting therapeutic recreation for residents. Assist in program planning and implementation while ensuring individual resident needs are met.

In this role, reporting to the Recreation Manager, you'll be integral to assessing, planning, and executing recreation programs for residents. Your key responsibilities include working closely with residents to ensure their leisure goals are understood and met. Your strong interpersonal skills will foster a culture of respect and teamwork, enhancing the well-being of all participants through thoughtful programming.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify residents’ Leisure Lifestyle goals collaboratively
• Communicate changes in resident needs effectively




• Ensure appropriate implementation of recreational programs
• Transport residents safely to offsite activities
• Participate in planning the monthly Recreation Calendar

Requirements:
• RTA certificate or diploma required
• Class 4 Driver's License or willing to obtain it
• CPR & First Aid certifications preferred
• Experience in a Recreation Therapy setting valued
• Solid organizational and interpersonal skills needed
