Strengthen community safety as the Community Safety Team Manager at the Public Safety Department in North Vancouver. This impactful role emphasizes comprehensive support through a culturally grounded and community-focused approach.

In this permanent full time role, you will manage the Community Safety Team, enhancing safety, prevention, and intervention strategies within the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw community. Your leadership will ensure compliance with safety measures and policies while facilitating effective communication with community members and various public agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and direct operations of the safety team
• Conduct safety strategy implementation and evaluations
• Lead timely incident response and community support




• Oversee patrols, inspections, and hazard identificaiton
• Prepare reports, budgets, and community briefings

Requirements:
• 8–9 years relevant experience with diploma
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of emergency responses and safety protocols
• Expertise in public safety practices
• BC Driver’s License and ability to travel
