Indwell is hiring an Environmental Services Coordinator in London, ON. This full-time janitorial role focuses on maintaining cleanliness in supportive housing settings for residents facing mental health challenges.
As an Environmental Services team member, you will ensure high standards of cleaning while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support housing stability for residents who need special care. Your contributions will extend to mentoring tenant employees and maintaining effective working relationships to create a compassionate workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cleaning tasks like mopping and dusting
• Handle special cleaning projects as needed
• Report any building deficiencies to the supervisor
• Keep supply rooms well-maintained
• Support and mentor tenant employees, if necessary
Requirements:
• Prior janitorial experience preferred
• Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Current Standard First Aid & CPR Certification needed
• Compassion for individuals with mental health concerns
• Have a “G” license with a personal vehicle
