Take the lead in driver recruitment with SecondShop in Burlington, Ontario. This full time role focuses on sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified commercial drivers while ensuring compliance throughout the process.

As a Recruiting Specialist (Driver Hiring), you will manage high-volume recruitment efforts, collaborating closely with Operations and Human Resources. Your attention to detail will help ensure that our drivers meet qualifications and regulatory requirements. You will create a smooth candidate experience and support the growing transportation network.

Key Responsibilities:
• Source qualified commercial drivers through various channels
• Review applications and conduct initial phone screenings




• Coordinate background checks and pre-employment screenings
• Schedule interviews, road tests, and drug tests
• Maintain Driver Qualification files for compliance

Requirements:
• High school diploma; post-secondary education preferred
• Experience in recruitment or transportation recruiting
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems
• Detail-oriented and proactive approach
