Join Altus Group as a Cost Consultant, operating from our downtown Toronto office. This role focuses on budget tracking and project documentation review within our Development Advisory division.

As a Cost Consultant at Altus Group, you will directly interface between lenders and developers, ensuring project compliance and budget management. Your responsibilities will include forecasting costs, reviewing construction documentation, and delivering detailed monthly project reports. Collaborate closely with the loan monitoring team to facilitate financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review construction site progress claims monthly
• Track project budgets and cash flow projections
• Prepare preliminary reports for lenders before loan advances




• Analyze development schedules and anticipated completion dates
• Process payment certifications in line with Provincial Lien Act

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 2-5 years experience in project monitoring
• Robust understanding of RICS Project Monitoring guidelines
• Knowledge of construction estimates and development schedules
• Pursuing LEED or RICS/PQS certification is an asset
