Company: Indogulf BioAg Location: London, ON Experience: 8+ years Function: Retail, Wholesale, Distribution, E-commerce and Channel Development
About the Role
Indogulf BioAg is seeking an experienced Business Head – Retail & Distribution to lead the growth of our retail, wholesale, e-commerce and distribution business across North America.
The successful candidate will take ownership of our registered product portfolio in the US, CA, UK, and EU - including Rootmax, Tricho Pro, Super Microbes and Universal Microbes - and build a scalable commercial platform covering:
Amazon and other online marketplaces
Independent garden centres and nurseries
Agricultural and horticultural retailers
Wholesale and distributor partnerships
Commercial customer accounts
Business-to-business sales through our Partner Portal
This is a senior, hands-on commercial leadership role for someone who has previously built and grown a retail or distribution business, developed reseller networks, managed digital sales channels and created systems for repeatable revenue growth.
Business Opportunity
Indogulf BioAg has already established a strong presence on Amazon and other direct-to-consumer channels. However, online sales represent only a small portion of the total home-growing, gardening and horticultural market.
Most customers continue to purchase plants, fertilizers, soil amendments and biological products through physical points of sale such as:
Hydroponic stores
Farm and agricultural retailers
Landscape supply stores
Independent hardware stores
Specialty horticultural distributors
The Business Head will be responsible for developing this offline channel and ensuring that Indogulf products are available where customers already purchase plants and gardening inputs.
Indogulf has also recently launched a US Partner Portal, allowing commercial customers to register for business accounts and purchase products in case, pallet and wholesale quantities for resale or direct professional use.
The Business Head will lead customer acquisition and commercial growth through this platform.
