CGMH is on the lookout for a Registered Practical Nurse within its Surgical Services department for a temporary full time position. This role allows you to support patients throughout their perioperative journey, engage in surgical assistance, and promote health recovery. You'll be an integral part of a pioneering hospital team, enhancing your professional skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver compassionate patient-centered care in the surgical environment
• Facilitate pre-operative teaching and patient preparation
• Assist during surgical procedures with scrubbing duties




• Provide post-operative care and patient education
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare professionals

Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario
• BCLS certification and IV certification
• Minimum two years of RPN experience in acute care
• Completion of perioperative nursing certificate program
• Scrubbing competence in all surgical services
