Tim Hortons ManufacturingReporting to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for managing raw material purchasing, inventory levels, production planning support, and the tracking of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. The position also oversees shelf-life and obsolete inventory management while working closely with Warehouse, Production, and Quality teams to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementMaintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.Monitor inventory transactions daily to ensure system accuracy. Perform cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouse, production, and finished goods storage. Ensure inventory is stored, identified, and rotated according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.Maintain complete inventory traceability to support food safety and recall requirements.Raw Material Planning & Procurement Plan raw material and packaging requirements based on production schedules and customer demand. Monitor inventory levels and reorder raw materials and packaging supplies to maintain optimal stock while avoiding shortages and excess inventory.Work closely with approved suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.Coordinate with vendors and operations to resolve supply issues and prevent production interruptions. Review inventory forecasts and recommend adjustments based on sales trends and production requirements.Production Planning SupportCollaborate with Production to develop and maintain production schedules. Ensure all required raw materials and packaging are available before production begins. Adjust material plans as production schedules change.



Monitor inventory availability to support efficient production while minimizing downtime. Assist with capacity planning by ensuring material availability aligns with production requirements.Shelf-Life & Obsolete Inventory Management Monitor shelf life of all raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods. Identify products approaching expiry and coordinate with Production to minimize waste. Manage obsolete, slow-moving, and expired inventory, including disposition in accordance with company policies.Prepare regular reports on inventory aging, shelf-life status, and obsolete inventory. Develop recommendations to reduce inventory write-offs and improve inventory turnover.Inventory Analysis & ReportingPrepare inventory reports, including stock levels, inventory valuation, consumption trends, inventory aging, and forecast requirements.Analyze inventory usage and identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.Monitor inventory performance metrics, including inventory accuracy and stock turns. Support month-end inventory reconciliation and annual physical inventory counts.Food Safety & ComplianceFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP principles, and CFIA requirements.Maintain accurate inventory records to support audits and product traceability.Ensure all inventory handling practices comply with company food safety and quality programs.QualificationsPost-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business,
