Carewest is hiring a Psychologist II to deliver mental health services in Red Deer, Alberta. Focus on operational stress injuries for Canadian Forces and RCMP members through evidence-based assessments and treatments.

As a Psychologist II at Carewest, you will work full time providing clinical assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients referred by Veterans' Affairs and other services. Your expertise will guide the design and application of evidence-based mental health interventions and facilitate client progress in various therapeutic settings. Heavily involved in interdisciplinary teamwork, you will help shape program delivery and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for treatment recommendations
• Design client-centered treatment plans with interdisciplinary support




• Implement individual and group therapy sessions
• Perform episodic care in a tertiary mental health clinic
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust strategies accordingly

Requirements:
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology
• Registration or eligibility with the College of Alberta Psychologists
• Experience with first responders or military personnel
• Knowledge of trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders
• Competency in evidence-based psychotherapy methods
