In this role, you'll work closely with the OCCI crops team, contributing to crucial agricultural research studies and managing data analysis. Your responsibilities will encompass both indoor and outdoor research activities, sharing your insights with peers and supporting student training. A strong background in agricultural practices is vital for ensuring effective results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain research protocols and procedures
• Conduct data collection and organization for projects
• Operate specialized agricultural equipment safely
• Assist in drafting project-related documentation
• Engage in outreach and knowledge transfer initiatives
Requirements:
• Accredited post-secondary education in Agriculture or related fields
• Valid Pesticide Applicator License (obtained within 5 months)
• Fieldwork and lab experience in agriculture (minimum two years)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Capable of managing multiple projects under time constraints
