Join Paladin Security as a Full time Healthcare Security Officer to ensure the safety of patients and staff. This rotational position involves 4-day on, 4-day off shifts with a focus on proactive security measures.
In this role, you will patrol hospital premises, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to emergencies. Your duties also include managing access controls and providing exceptional customer service to guests. Conflict resolution and report writing will be key components of your daily responsibilities to uphold security standards across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular security rounds in the hospital
• Operate and monitor security cameras
• Control entry points to the hospital
• Assist during emergencies and evacuations
• Document daily activities and incidents
Requirements:
• Ability to obtain Security License for Nova Scotia
• Intermediate First Aid/CPR - Level C
• Mandatory English fluency
• Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
• Certifications in Use of Force and Management of Aggressive Behavior
