About the role

Angelic Clinical Wellness & Beauty is building a five-location clinical foot-health program serving clients in clinic, at home, and through future partnerships with retirement and long-term-care facilities. We are seeking an Ontario-registered Nurse Practitioner to provide primarily virtual clinical support to our onsite RPN/RN team.

This is a permanent, part-time employee position with a guaranteed minimum of 5 paid hours per week at the beginning. Hours are expected to increase progressively as our clinical program, referral volume, and facility partnerships grow. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop into a larger regional clinical-support and leadership role.

How the role works The NP will work during scheduled, paid virtual clinical-review windows. Our onsite nurses complete assessments, gather relevant history, obtain consented clinical photographs, and provide nursing care within their own scope. The NP independently reviews appropriate cases and connects with the client virtually whenever an NP encounter is clinically required.

The NP is not expected to be continuously available outside paid hours. Together, we will establish clear response times, result-follow-up coverage, escalation procedures, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

- Conduct secure virtual NP assessments when clinically indicated.
- Review nursing assessments, relevant history, consented photographs, and other clinical information.
- Provide client-specific orders and clinical direction within the NP's lawful scope and independent professional judgment.




- Order and review appropriate laboratory or diagnostic testing and act on results.
- Prescribe within the agreed foot-health service model when clinically appropriate.
- Assess suspected infection, inflammation, skin or nail conditions, and other concerns requiring NP-level evaluation.
- Determine when a client may continue through our service pathway and when referral or urgent escalation is required.
- Help develop and periodically review evidence-informed protocols, medical directives where legally appropriate, escalation pathways, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with RPNs/RNs while preserving each qualified's independent accountability and scope.
- Maintain timely, accurate, privacy-compliant documentation.
- Support clinical quality improvement, case review, and staff education as the program expands.

Service boundaries This role is designed primarily for virtual clinical support. Complex cases requiring a hands-on NP examination, advanced in-person medical treatment, or services outside our program will be referred to the appropriate local physician, emergency department, specialist, or other provider. Occasional onsite work may be considered later only by mutual agreement, with applicable travel arrangements confirmed in advance.

Qualifications





- Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (Nurse Practitioner) with the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standing.
- Authorized and competent to practise in Ontario and provide virtual care.
- Current professional liability protection.
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation, communication, and collaborative-care skills.
- Experience with older adults, primary care, community care, wound care, dermatologic concerns, diabetes, or foot health is an asset.
- Comfortable helping build safe workflows in a growing, nurse-led clinical program.
- Reliable access to a private workspace, secure internet connection, and suitable technology for virtual care.

Compensation and schedule
- $60–$70 per hour, based on experience.
- Guaranteed minimum of 5 paid hours per week initially.
- Flexible, scheduled virtual hours.
- Expected opportunity for increasing hours as the program grows.
- Work from home within Ontario.
