Willow Valley Golf Course is a beautifully maintained 18-hole course nestled in the scenic countryside of Mount Hope, Ontario. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional playing conditions, Willow Valley is a popular destination for both casual golfers and competitive tournaments. Our clubhouse offers a warm and relaxed setting for guests to enjoy food and beverage services before or after their round.

Willow Valley Golf Course is seeking friendly and reliable Volunteer Starter Marshals to help create an outstanding experience for our golf guests.

Ideal for golf enthusiasts looking for a flexible, rewarding opportunity to stay active, meet new people, and spend time at a beautiful golf course.

What You’ll Do:

- Welcome golfers and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage tee times, cart assignments, and cart keys.
- Assist with staging and organizing golf carts.
- Record cart numbers and player information using an iPad.
- Inform golfers of daily course rules, pace-of-play expectations, and facilities.
- Maintain a clean, organized Starter area.
- Communicate with Pro Shop staff, Cart Crew, and other Marshals.
- Assist with basic golf course preparation and operations at the beginning and end of each shift.

What We’re Looking For:

- Friendly and professional customer service skills.
- Strong communication
- Reliable, punctual and organized.
- Comfortable working outdoors.
- Basic technology skills (iPad; two-way radio).
- Familiarity with golf etiquette is preferred.




- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate golf carts safely.

Schedule

- Flexible, seasonal, part-time.
- Commencing immediately, through to the end of the season (estimated mid-November).
- Potential to return for future golf seasons.
- Morning shifts begin 30 minutes before the first tee time.
- Afternoon shifts generally run from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
