Overview

Beutel Goodman is seeking a strategic and cooperative leader to join our team as VP, Enterprise Risk Management. This role is responsible for leading the firm's enterprise risk management program, strengthening risk governance practices, and providing independent oversight of the firm's risk profile and control environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across teams, communicating clearly with senior leaders, and promoting a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and enhance the firm's enterprise risk management framework and governance practices.
- Provide risk reporting, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and shareholders.
- Analyse risk and business data to assist senior management with governance and strategic planning.
- Support risk identification, assessment, monitoring, mitigation, and escalation activities across the organization.
- Conduct independent reviews of key risks, controls, policies, and processes.
- Oversee key risk programs, including cybersecurity, business continuity,



third-party risk management, and emerging risk initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement and a culture of transparency, accountability, and effective risk management.

Qualifications

- University degree and a relevant professional designation such as FRM, PRM, CFA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent.
- 15+ years of experience in risk management, audit, compliance, or related leadership roles within investment management or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to influence and collaborate across the organization.
