The City of Burlington is seeking a Specialized Program Instructor, RCC – Theatre Production, to facilitate its Student Theatre programs for ages 4-17. This part-time position involves coordinating production activities, mentoring young technicians, and ensuring production safety and quality. You will report to the Artistic Supervisor while developing crucial technical skills and a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor student technicians and volunteers in technical disciplines
• Lead technical operations for theatre productions




• Maintain schedules and collaborate on production budgets
• Coordinate backstage leadership during rehearsals
• Support participants in skill development and teamwork

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Technical Theatre or related field
• 2 years of experience in technical theatre production
• Experience coordinating sound, lighting, and logistics
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification required
