Duties and Responsibilities
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, control systems, and video conferencingtools.
Performing preventative maintenance and routine checks to ensure AV systems are functioning optimally.
Providing first-level support and training to faculty and staff on AV systems and hybrid learning technologies.
Assisting with, and running AV setups for campus events and transporting equipment between locations.
Collaborating with IT and facilities teams on AV upgrades and renovations.
Requirements
Two-year College Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Broadcast Technology, MediaProduction or related field.
One to two years of experience in AV equipment setup and troubleshooting,
preferably in an educational or corporate setting. Anequivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Familiarity with AV control systems (Crestron/Extron), video conferencing platforms (Zoom, MS Teams), and AV-over-IP technologies.
Valid G-Class Driver’s License.
Working at Heights certification.
CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification preferred or to be obtained within the first year.
