As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will report to the Director of Care or Health & Wellness. This role requires strong clinical knowledge and involves care assessments, planning, and documentation. Collaborate with an inter-qualified team to facilitate resident care and education effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete clinical assessments and manage care plans
• Administer medications and document care accurately
• Coordinate care assignments for nursing teams
• Teach and direct unregulated care providers
• Respond to medical emergencies and significant resident changes
Requirements:
• Current LPN registration in your province
• Experience in gerontology or long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
