The position is for a Registered Practical Nurse at AgeCare Trilogy in Scarborough, ON. You will contribute to policy implementation, collaborate with health care teams, and provide guidance to Personal Support Workers. Your role is key in fostering an effective care workplace while ensuring high standards are met for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the Registered Nurse on unit policies and procedures
• Communicate significant resident status changes to physicians
• Ensure needs are met by collaborating with the health care team
• Guide Personal Support Workers in their duties
• Participate actively in shift reports for continuity of care
Requirements:
• Knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration
• Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
• Current nursing certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• In good standing as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Experience in rehabilitation nursing is desirable
