Drive alumni relations and community building as an Alumni Engagement Specialist at UVic. This role focuses on program development and event management for enhancing alumni relationships.

As a key member of the Alumni & Development unit, you will work closely with the Alumni Association to implement programs that strengthen connections with UVic graduates. A bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in event management are essential. Responsibilities also include analyzing data to inform program improvements and outreach strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement alumni outreach initiatives
• Oversee comprehensive planning of Signature Events
• Manage event logistics and budgets efficiently




• Foster strategic partnerships to enhance alumni services
• Utilize data-driven insights for continuous improvement

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required; 2 years of experience preferred
• Solid project management skills
• Familiarity with event planning best practices
• Proficient in communication tools like MS Teams
